The 7000 Series is a new generation of professional tailoring shears. The blades discount are made of AUS8A stainless steel (4 mm. in thickness) and hardened up to 58+/-1 HRC. The shears are elegantly matte finished and equipped with a patented duplex interlock fastener that prevents the screw from becoming loose. The fastener is also heat treated and hardened up to 45 +/- 1 HRC.

The Kai 7205 is the 8-inch professional scissor that is ideal for thicker, more difficult fabrics. The 7000 series scissors, including the 7205, are made of a high carbon, hardened stainless steel.

The addition of carbon allows for a steeper cutting angle, giving the scissor a sharper, finer edge. The carbon allows the finer edge to last longer. This gives the 7000 series a better ability to cut thicker fabrics and allow for easier use.
