Ah, Black Walnut. My personal favorite as it happens to come straight from my family's land in the midwestern United States. The range of colors you'll find in this stuff is astounding. The heartwood can range from a lighter pale brown to a dark discount chocolate brown with darker streaks, and can sometimes have a grey, purple, or reddish cast. In contrast, the sapwood can appear as a pale yellow-gray to nearly white.

Each dice tray is hand-crafted with love in my modest little garage-turned-woodshop.
