Striking summer inspired parasol decorated with colour pops of greens and yellow. To boot it has a bold red underside so a colour splash whichever way you turn. 

Estimated to be 1950's or earlier. This vintage parasol is made of thick waxed rice paper & bamboo.

Condition: Good condition, fully collapseable. Some of the painted patterns and sprayed shading have come away with time which gives the parasol a lovely vintage look. The top cap looks crooked and loose when closed, this works perfectly once opened. 

HOWEVER please note the main opening spoke is very stuff and difficult to open into the static position. It takes some strength and patience, so best to use as home decor where you only open it once / on occasion. 

Vintage items have through their use and their age natural signs of use. So the object is given a beautiful patina that vintage lovers appreciate so much.
