Lovely heavy crystal piece in the form of a dachshund (or basset hound) with the maker's mark is the base of one back foot.
There is a lot of detail to the face and the trunk of the body is formed into a dish with lovely tail with slight curl to the tip.

French crystal glass dog, ideal gift for a lover of dogs or specifically dachshund, as an ornament or for use as an "empty pocket" in a hall / entryway for keys or loose change, a candy dish in the dining room or a trinket dish in a bedroom.
