For over 30 years I custom made wedding gowns. I enjoyed it, but eventually needed to take discount a break from that endeavor. I've always loved wedding gowns and missed playing with all the beautiful fabrics and trims. Thankfully, I've found a new passion: upcycling/redesigning vintage gowns, as well as creating my own headpiece and gown designs. These creations often incorporate vintage trims and laces.

This glamorous rendition of a flapper-styled headband will make a dramatic statement on your wedding day and be the perfect accent for your art deco styled gown.

The band is fashioned out of vintage lace, vintage fringed beading, a band of pearl trim and a fabulous, large, beaded bow applique from the 1950s.

The band is 3 inches wide and 11 inches long when stretched. I've added an elastic section in the back to accomodate different head sizes.

A one of a kind beauty you won't find anywhere else.
