Walnut, Walnut Burl, discount and Holly Keepsake Box 7

This is a hand-made keepsake box discount. The lid is Walnut Burl and Walnut, with a Holly inlay. The body of the box is Walnut. The handle is Walnut Burl. The box has Walnut splines for decoration and strength. The walls are 5/16” thick.

The Walnut Burl is highly figured. Use your imagination to find figures and shapes in the burl.

The box is hinged for easy access to the inside.

I use no paint or stain on my boxes. What you see is the beauty of the natural wood. The box has been finished with three to five coats of clear polyurethane.

To care for your piece of art, dust with a furniture spray (such as Pledge or Endust) and a clean cloth, as needed.
