Product code: President discount Madison CB Radio SSB Base Station
I purchased this thinking I could spend time restoring it since it looked cool. After receiving it though I realized I don't know jack about CB radios, so it's been sitting on a shelf. You are purchasing this as-is *NO RETURNS*. I had a friend test it using an external speaker, his car CB antenna and microphone (no mic included - only what you see): Clock discount is fully fully functional We got static through the speaker when radio was turned on Meters move a little but stay stuck when radio is turned off. We could move the needle when using SWR calibration Meter moves a little from its stuck position when keying the microphone We could hear my transmission/voice on his radio We could get a signal from his radio when his mic was keyed but could not make out any audio when he spoke There is a switch on the left side that was strategically placed so no extra holes were drilled. I was told this is most likely for extra channels. Volume, Squelch, Tone, ANL, Mic and RF gain all seem to function.
