English film and stage actor who appeared in the Sherlock Holmes film "The Hound of the Baskervilles" (1932), Walter Forde's "The Gaunt Stranger (1931) and an uncredited role in "The Thief of Bagdad" (1940). Signed with quote from play "The Wandering Jew".
