Gorgeous AAA TOP gem quality rose quartz have been hand carved into an unusual knot shape very characteristic of the 1970s -1980s in China. These beads are approximately 5/8" in diameter ,beautifully translucent, and have a lovely even polish as you can see in discount the photos.

We purchased these very unusual carved rose quartz beads during a buying trip to Hong Kong in the mid 1980s when I was actively designing necklaces and earrings for the Smithsonian's museum shops and mail order catalogs.

These earrings have oxidized sterling silver bead caps and hang from handmade oxidized sterling silver long french ear wires.
