Beautiful discount Large Knotted Vintage Scrap Quilt

This is a beautiful patchwork scrap quilt, likely from the 1950's. The back is entirely a deep red/burgundy colour, and the front is made up of wonderful solid colours and patterns of vintage fabric. Our best guess is that this is a heavy poly type of blend quilt. It is quite heavy and will be a very warm blanket. Please keep this in mind for shipping.

There are some parts that have separated at the seams, and there are some small discoloured areas, mostly no larger than the tip of your finger, and not very many. Any separated seams can easily be repaired. There are some squares that have lost their integrity. They can definitely be left as is, or perhaps replaced if you're skilled to do so! This quilt does have a batting between the layers. All in all, it is very much expected vintage wear and tear on a piece of this age. We don't have too much background knowledge on this piece, but it is both machined and hand made. The yarn or wool that was used is a consistent red in colour. It is shown photographed on a double bed. Turned sideways, this is plenty large enough to cover a queen bed as a topper. This quilt measures at 96x60 inches and weighs just around six pounds. It is a beauty! This piece will be laundered prior to shipping.
