French fabric cretonne floral printed cotton cloth material pillows, upholstery discount sewing projects

This gorgeous panel is a vintage, gently faded French cretonne fabric panel from circa 1900! This piece use to be quilted, you can see evidence of that on the backside. Lovely cretonne weave ( thin warp , thick weft ) with a soft texture! Delightful floral pattern with maroon ground! The flowers and stripes are muted pink, green, cream and khaki tones. This is a lovely heavy weight cotton. The selvages are intact on this length! Ideal for small sewing projects, light upholstery, pillows, etc ~~ ( EFF56 )

MEASUREMENTS: This lovely fabric measures approximately 33 inches by 73 inches long.

CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. There are a few pale storage marks that should wash beautifully! There is evidence of this piece having been quilted; little threads and batting on the backside, when held to the light you can almost see the quilting pattern. There are one or two small holes.
