BRACELET 6.5" & EARRING SET

I had found these bones floating at the water's edge as a string in graduated sizes. I had no idea what kind of animal this came from or what body part it was. Like I said....creepy!
I took it home cleaned, bleached and let it hang out in the patio in an Abalone shell for years before it made it's way into a bead box. Since...I have found out these are vertebrae but no idea what type of animal

I picked gray gunmetal and bright turquoise glass beads for this project.
I worked in a peyote stitch with Gunmetal glass around the bones to make it look like a "backbones" and like.... torn skin or a pelt
I added a ruffled edge in blue. It really is a funky set and for sure it engages conversation....for the freaky!

The Hoops are a perfect medium size and I used the same materials to match...it's a "one of a kind" & for sure original Good JuJu!
